SIGAUS demonstrates its commitment to social entities for yet another year through agreements with the DRAVET'S SYNDROME Foundation, the PORQUEVIVEN Foundation and APADIS, thus consolidating a collaboration started in 2018. This financial donation from the entity that manages industrial waste oil supports the work of these organisations, whose aim is to improve the quality of life of children with serious illnesses and people with disabilities, as well as that of their families. The renewal of the agreements, held in a personal and emotional atmosphere, was attended by the highest representatives of the three organisations, who stressed the importance of this collaboration for developing specific projects within the framework of their activities.

José Ángel Aibar, President of the DRAVET'S SYNDROME Foundation, highlighted that this collaboration allows them to continue advancing in their research goals (with the recent launch of a specific laboratory together with experts from the Miguel Hernández University in Alicante), as well as supporting families and raising awareness of this severe form of childhood epilepsy. ‘The collaboration with SIGAUS is vital for us to continue working to improve the quality of life of people who live every day with this rare disease,’ said Aibar.

At the renewal celebration for this collaboration, SIGAUS’ director, Eduardo de Lecea, was present on behalf of the company, as well as its president, Buenaventura González del Campo, who expressed the organisation’s satisfaction as it continues to support these foundations, and in a sustained manner over time, which multiplies the positive impact on them. He also pointed out SIGAUS’ intention to maintain this line of social responsibility that goes beyond the entity’s corporate purpose.
